2.1.5. FLOATMODE Command
The FLOATMODE
command allows to read or modify the Floating Mode.
By factory configuration the unit minus terminal is grounded to the Mains-Earth (protective ground) trough a fuse.
To allow the floating operation of the power unit it is necessary to remove the Earth Fuse from the fuse-holder on the back-panel of the unit and to set the Floating Mode to Floating; otherwise to use the module connected to ground (default mode), it is necessary to set the Floating Mode to Grounded and to insert the Earth Fuse.
