ERR Command
Applies to: ALL modes (general purpose).
The CT-BOX has an internal Error register that shows the error status of the device that may have occurred during normal device operation. Reading this register allows identifying the actual error(s) of the device.

Reset (clear) the Error register |
The full bit-by-bit description of the register is given in Error Register.
Important
The bits of this register act as latches: when an error occurs, the
corresponding bit remains high until the error clear command ERR:CLR is
sent to the unit. If the errors have been solved, the relative bits remain
0 after the clear; otherwise the error bits return high at the next
error check, within about 1 s.
The Error condition bit of the Status Register is a logical OR of the bits of the Error Register, so it is high when one or more bits of the Error Register are high.
Example(s):
The value 0X00010001 indicates that an SD mount error occurred (bit #1 is
high) and that a buffer overflow occurred (bit #17 is high):
ERR:?
0X00010001
Clearing the Error register:
ERR:CLR
ACK
ERR:?
0X00000000
