PRINT Command
Applies to: ALL modes (general purpose).
The PRINT command enables or disables the printing of the measured data to
the communication stream. The printing is enabled as soon as the command
PRINT:ON is received; a disable command PRINT:OFF has to be sent in order
to stop the printing.
Warning
In DLOG and DMM modes (TCP stream), if any command other than ACQ:ON /
ACQ:OFF is received during the acquisition (for example STATUS:?), the
printing is automatically stopped. To resume printing, send PRINT:ON
again.
In OSC mode the data is streamed over UDP, so commands sent over TCP do not stop the printing.

Important
The communication stream does not depend on the PRINT command alone: it
also depends on the ACQ command, which starts or stops
the data acquisition. For example, if printing is enabled but the acquisition
is disabled, the device will not send any data to the communication stream.
Example(s):
PRINT in OSC mode with the acquisition enabled beforehand (note that in
this case the first acquisitions 0x01 – 0x10 are not displayed,
because the PRINT command is enabled afterwards). Note that the error bit is set:
PRINT:ON

0x000012 0x01 0x41200073
