Internal Registers

The CT-BOX exposes two internal registers:

• the Status Register, readable through the STATUS Command, which reports the actual status and configuration of the instrument;

• the Error Register, readable and clearable through the ERR Command, which latches the error conditions that occurred during operation.

Note

Both registers are 32 bits wide and are returned as an ASCII hexadecimal string. They are distinct from the 8-bit status code transmitted with every single acquisition.
