PASSWORD Command

Applies to: ALL modes (general purpose).

The PASSWORD command unlocks or locks the access to the protected commands, namely SCALE and GAIN.

A wrong password is rejected with error code 25 (Wrong password); issuing a protected command while it is locked returns error code 23 (Password required). See List of the Error Codes.
